Refund & Cancellation Policy

All Jyotish Live products are digital and delivered instantly after payment. This policy explains our refund rules across all three product types — individual reports, subscription passes, and question packs — and the specific situations where refunds may still be issued.
1.What You've Purchased
Jyotish Live sells three kinds of paid products, all of which are digital goods delivered electronically upon payment:
- Individual Reports — one-time AI-generated astrology reports (Marriage & Relationship, Career & Profession, 12 Months Forecast). Delivered as a PDF within minutes of payment.
- Subscription Passes — fixed-duration access passes (Pro or Premium, 3-month or annual). These are one-time passes, not recurring subscriptions. Access to paid features begins immediately and runs until the expiry date shown on your account.
- Question Packs — prepaid AI-question credits (1, 5, or 10 questions). Credits are added to your account immediately on purchase and never expire.
2.Refund Eligibility by Product
Because all products are delivered instantly and cannot be "unconsumed," they are generally non-refundable once delivered. Specifics:
- Individual Reports — once a report has been generated and made available to you, the purchase is final. We cannot refund based on personal disagreement with the insights, predictions, or interpretations in the report.
- Subscription Passes — once a pass is activated on your account (immediately at payment), it is non-refundable, whether or not you use the full term. We cannot issue prorated refunds for unused time. Since the passes do not auto-renew, you won't be charged again unless you buy another pass.
- Question Packs — once the questions are credited to your account, the purchase is final and non-refundable. Unused questions never expire, so they remain available to you indefinitely.
3.When a Refund May Be Issued
We want every customer to receive what they paid for. Regardless of product type, you may be eligible for a refund in these cases:
- Technical failure: You completed payment but the product was never delivered (report failed to generate, plan pass never activated, questions never credited), and our team is unable to resolve it after a reasonable support attempt.
- Payment error: You were charged incorrectly, charged more than once for the same product, or charged due to a processing error on our side or our payment provider's side.
- Unauthorized charge: A charge was made without your authorization. Contact us immediately — we will investigate and refund if verified.
4.How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
To request a refund, email us at support@jyotish.live within 7 days of your purchase. Please include:
- The email address used at checkout
- The order number from your receipt (e.g. JL-2026-0042)
- The date and amount of the purchase
- Which product you purchased (report / plan pass / question pack)
- A short description of the issue
5.Review & Processing Timeline
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- Eligible refunds are typically approved within 5–7 business days of review.
- Once approved, the refund is issued through the original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear in your account.
- Refunds are processed in the original currency charged. Any currency conversion differences are governed by your payment provider.
- For international purchases handled by a Merchant of Record (payment partner), the refund is processed through that partner and may follow their stated timelines.
6.Chargebacks
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us first — we will do our best to resolve the issue quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may delay the resolution and can result in the associated account being suspended while the dispute is investigated.
